Pocketbread packaging concept: a crisped stuffed flatbread in an orange paper sleeve next to a kraft box reading POCKETBREAD, savory stuffed flatbread
Concept render — not final packaging

A savory, handheld breakfast you crisp from frozen in three minutes and eat straight out of the sleeve. The vegetables are in the bread. Nothing in it you couldn't buy at a grocery store.

How it works

Freezer to hand in three minutes

01

Grab it frozen

Straight from the freezer. No thawing, no prep, no dishes.

02

Toast or airfry for 3 min

It comes out hot and crispy, the way a satisfying breakfast should be.

03

Eat. Go.

One hand, out of the sleeve. On the train, after the gym, out the door.

What's inside

Real food, working harder

No preservatives. No gums, no stabilizers, nothing you'd need a chemistry degree to pronounce. If we can't make it work with real food, we don't make it.

Vegetables baked into the bread, a savory filling inside, and macros a trainer would sign off on.

Founder's story

Savory is the world's breakfast

Hi, I'm Amit, founder and head of salty foods

A few years ago, health problems forced me to rebuild how I eat. My trainer's plan meant a hot breakfast with real macros, every day. But everything on that shelf was sweet. The oatmeal was sweet. The protein powder was sweet. After a workout, sweet was the last thing I wanted, so I started cooking savory breakfasts every day, and realized nobody would sell me one.

Here's the thing: most of the planet already wakes up to something hot and savory. America's breakfast got industrialized into sugar, and savory got exiled to the indulgent weekend. I grew up on the other kind of breakfast: my mom's stuffed parathas, invented daily out of whatever was fresh. Home science, we called it.

Pocketbread is that breakfast, rebuilt for the weekday: hot, crisp, genuinely nutritious, and fast enough to beat a toaster pastry out the door.

We're not nice. We're salty.

My promise

  • Real food only. No preservatives, no gums, no stabilizers
  • Vegetables baked into the bread
  • Savory first. Never an apology for it
  • Macros a trainer would sign off on
  • Nutrition, flavor, convenience. All three, no settling
  • Crisp from the air fryer, never steamed sad in a microwave

if we can't make it with real food, we don't make it.
